From blood ivory to big cats, creative conservationist and National Geographic Emerging Explorer Asher Jay is on a mission to protect the world's wildlife the best way she knows how-through her art. Upcoming Events at National Geographic Live!

We've lost over half the world's wildlife in the past 40 years. Now is the time to rethink our ways! Using art and creativity, Asher Jay inspires, offers hope and encourages a young audience to change the current paradigm by taking responsibility for the world around them.

By Design I am a creative conservationist. Our inability to perceive what has been lost to us prevents us from valuing and conserving what remains. Through both visuals and a personal narrative I cast a light on what I've learned from love and loss. http://www.asherjay.com "Art empowers me to act in this world."
